Plan C: Awakening

I had a dream the other night

or rather...

towards the break of day

as it is often, as it is, no?

There is a codex concerning

the sharing of dreams

and I know it

I had revised the imagery well and

also read the small print on the end of our codex

and so shared it some time with someone

It was a dream of “fight or flight” in some way:

a friend of mine and I had caused utter damage

not on purpose even, but done is done

the metaphor happened on material level: cars

so the question was:

get away, maybe still unseen and hope grass will grow

or stand your ground and take responsibility

whatever may come as the situation was chaos

potentially life-changing

The tendencies waved

hauntingly, like in our child-mind

also in the dreaming body...sensuously felt

but no decision was found between the polar impulses

this polarity, the dual oscillation

til I got utterly unnerved while dreaming

and stirred and chose in a way...to wake

Well I told this to a friend and what he said

to my surprise, was

-which can make telling dreams worthwhile-

“Ahh...you found and chose Plan C: Waking up!”

Coin dropped instantly

no sides to the coin though!
