As I might have said somewhere else: often in Art or any kind of expressive activity the human

mind seeks automatically for comparison or reference, feels reminded of or reads connection to

somebody else or a certain movement. Yes, unique talent is wonderful, yes uniqueness in some way is a beacon-like urge or legacy in the end. Uniqueness is our fate, gift and burden even. None-the- less we live it all and every Lighthouse got its fundamental rocks from somewhere. I would find it very warming and connectivity building to say “I work in the tradition or heritage of the wonderful inspiring oevre and spirit of ......dot-dot...”
