Today after Breakfast

Today after breakfast

my Ego suddenly was gone!

I looked under the bed, in the cellar

beside the loo, even in the bathroom mirror

but it was gone!

On a walk, for a hike or a coffee?

to walk an unknown dog or someone else`s?

At least not with me

How awesome

And so I cheerfully assimilated

into the great ant heap

solidly thoughtless united

into the sacred beehive

tied in

recovered

marvelously free of lust and addiction

important and unimportant:

a devoted cluster of cells

a concentrate of vivid energy

in the great fluid structure of life!

Aahh...how light-footed, doubtless and wise

life was... for these blessed three minutes!
