I would love to call it a wonderful viewpoint
even a mind-blowing angle
tune into your self perception and take this:
Lately
in a well-built circle of people
and after a precisely tuned break of silence
I heard that:
Scientists recently found out
(which is a splendid opening)
that it is a myth, a wrong interpretation
that male sperms vigorously fight for being the one
that makes its way to penetrate the female egg
Instead it seems proven
that there is a chosen one
one that is determined to go for it
that is like carrying the Olympic fire
and the others step aside and give way
like the excited audience at the Tour de France cycling race
cheering and building an aisle for the leader
cycling up towards the mountain pass finishing line
yelling: hop-hop-hey-yeah come on you can make it!
We took it warmhearted
and we were even wondering about the eggs:
do they whisper: there, he is coming, it's your time!
Go, you can do it, don't be shy, go...go!!
Pushing invisible elbows of inevitable encouragement
Call it true
does it not paper-ball your last random concept
into the bin of trust-less uncertainty?
Call it true
what does it do with your perception of Self
or even with your self-esteem?
