I rarely water my Cactus

I love my cactus

I rarely water it-him-her

it is better for her-him-it

it suits his-its-her nature

and makes her-it-him soundly thrive

I don't know though exactly

how it-him-her would react

to a plentitude, an abundance of water

but most possibly

as you-I-we might presume

grow totally cuckoo and conceited

and cat-walk along the edge of my window-sill

pretending to be a passion-flower

Huh...no good...right?
