Cat before the Mouse-hole

If you are sitting

like a cat before a mouse-hole

sternly waiting

for truth to come out

your very own unique truth

I can tell you

the mouse lives in a well established

underground tunnel-network with many exits

You have to raise and keep wider attention...

I retell you a fable though

of the rabbit challenging the hedgehog for running

on which he agrees

secretly placing his wife that resembles him perfectly

at the end of the field

Both yell “go” and the rabbit runs

but the hedgehog does not move in his groove

and as the rabbit reaches the fields end

a hedgehog smiles: I'm already here!

So the rabbit runs back all over again

for the same outcome...

and again in disbelief...

til his exhaustion...

til his death

So

if you are sitting

like a cat before a mouse-hole

sternly waiting for truth to come out

oh...you might better ease up

raise, stretch and practice wider attention

but patiently stay

as running from one hole to the other

might not be the point either

but cause heart-attack!
