A spade and a Rake

A spade and a rake
and a bottle full of warm tea
the ducks are busy, looking for slug eggs
the spinach can be cut
the pea-pods are rounding
the turnips seem to germinate fine
and the pumpkins grow flower-buds
June morning, woodpecker and peppermint
a deep-breath view from a garden to a sky
and a large bird reflects in sunlight
Contrail some call it's vanishing tail
I slip into it's body
and suddenly sit, knees under a tight table
and there comes my meal:
plastic cutlery wrapped in plastic
a plastic-like roll in a plastic balloon
some kind of butter and jam in tiny cups
and dessert in some transparent container
a trolley rocks closer
and soon the smiling stewardess will ask me
the timeless lipstick questions
that echo a thousandfold through these skies
now, and now:
Coke, sprite, red wine...?
Beef or Chicken...
Beef or Chicken...sir....?
The bees are busy today, vibrant, I wonder if they swarm
the lambs develop wonderful
and I guess that reddish speckled hen started breeding
Fennel and Celery need some compost now
Think I give the asparagus another year of rest
to find his soul on this piece of land
just like me
